LMP1
No news is good news for Porsche, which continues to lead. Neel Jani is aboard the #1, while Timo Bernhard has brought the #2 Porsche up to 10th.
The #8 Toyota is 27th.
LMP2
The #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA is still the LMP2 leader (and second overall) ahead of the #13 and #31 ORECAs from Vaillante Rebellion.
TDS Racing’s #28 ORECA had a big off in the Porsche Curves while Emmanuel Collard was in the car. This brought out the Safety Car for the first time since 1:45.
Prior to that, the #34 Ligier (Chandok) slid into the gravel in the same spot, but did not make contact with the tire barriers and made it back to pit lane.
LMGTE Pro
The LMGTE Pro teams have begun to consider brake changes. The #95 and #97 Aston Martins have already made the change and briefly dropped down the order as a result. Several other teams joined suit once the Saftey Car period began, including the #71 Ferrari.
This has left the #91 Porsche (Lietz) in the class lead, followed by the #95 and #97 now with fresh brakes.
LMGTE Am
JMW Motorsport is still your leader in LMGTE Am. Robert Smith is in the #84 Ferrari out front. The #55 Ferrari (Scott) is second and the #77 Porsche (Cairoli) is third.
The #90 Aston Martin was in the mix as well until an off with Salih Yoluc in the car dropped it down the order to 12th.
