The crew of the #85 Ferrari 488 GTE EVO, Manuela Gostner, Rahel Frey and Michelle Gatting are launching a campaign with the FIA Women in Motorsport commission to encourage more women to take up the sport.

AF Corse has unveiled the livery that will adorn the #83 Ferrari 499P competing in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The #83 Ferrari 499P &ndash; last year&rsquo;s 24 Hours of Le Mans winner &ndash; will sport a new livery in 2026. While continuity is the watchword, a few stylistic changes have been introduced. The emblematic Giallo Modena is once again the main colour of the hypercar, but a fresh, new design is adopted for the red touches that reinforce the team&rsquo;s racing identity.

Robert Kubica, Yifei Ye and Phil Hanson will once again share the wheel. In addition to their stunning 24 Hours victory, the trio finished runners-up in the Hypercar World Endurance Drivers&rsquo; Championship standings. They will be back at Le Mans in June to defend their crown while attempting to go one better in the 2026 world title chase.

AF Corse shows off new Ferrari 499P livery

Following Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA and <a href="https://www.24h-lemans.com/en/news/ferrari-reveals-499p-livery-for-2026-60347" target="_blank">Ferrari AF-Corse</a>, it is Team Peugeot TotalEnergies&rsquo; turn to take the wraps off its 2026 Hypercar livery. The inhouse creation, a collaboration between Peugeot Design and Peugeot Sport, features Hypergraphs, a punchy, dynamic style that emphasises the manufacturer&rsquo;s competitive spirit. The white, red and black colour combination is a nod to the Peugeot GTi.

Matthias Hossann, Head of Design at Peugeot, explains the vision: &ldquo;The new livery of the PEUGEOT 9X8 is first and foremost further proof of the exceptional quality of the collaboration between Peugeot Design and Peugeot Sport. Hypergraphs that represent the legendary three claws and their expression of performance, and modernity with a colourway that represents the legendary Peugeot GTi spirit. Our aim is to bring an extra dose of emotion and enjoyment to every lap completed by the Peugeot 9X8.&rdquo;

Emmanuel Esnault, Team Principal of Team Peugeot TotalEnergies, said: &ldquo;Unveiling a new livery is always a key moment for the brand and for Team Peugeot TotalEnergies. It symbolises the start of a new season and a new dynamic driven by renewed ambitions, while remaining firmly rooted in Peugeot&rsquo;s heritage and identity. This livery fully embodies the spirit of the project and the close link between competition and the brand. It is also a valuable opportunity to bring our partners together to share this important moment that launches the 2026 season. We are looking forward to seeing it come to life on track in Qatar, at the opening round of the championship.&rdquo;

The #93 Peugeot 9X8 will be driven by Paul Di Resta, Stoffel Vandoorne and Nick Cassidy while Lo&iuml;c Duval, Malthe Jakobsen and Th&eacute;o Pourchaire form the crew of the #94.

A new look for the Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar

Ferrari has freshened up the livery of the 499P that will compete in the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans (10-14 June).

The 2026 livery for the Ferrari 499P was unveiled today (25 February) at a presentation held at the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena.

The 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship winners&rsquo; laurels are proudly displayed on the front wing of the Ferrari-AF Corse hypercar that will compete in the 2026 championship, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The refreshed livery again pays tribute to the 312 P that dominated the endurance scene until 1973, when Ferrari bowed out of endurance for half a century before its historic comeback in 2023. 
The 499P&rsquo;s design is the work of the Centro Stile Ferrari. The dominant red colour is a new glossy version of the traditional Rosso Scuderia. The hue and finish are identical to those sported by the Scuderia Ferrari HP SF-26 in Formula One. In 2026, the Giallo Modena yellow trim particularly emphasises the volumes of the cockpit.

<h2>No joker</h2>

No major technical modification has been made to the Ferrari 499P for 2026. In fact, the &ldquo;joker&rdquo; introduced in July 2024 for the Rolex 6 Hours of S&atilde;o Paulo remains the only one used on the car since its race d&eacute;but. Ferrari has not been resting on those winners&rsquo; laurels, however. Throughout the close season, the Scuderia has worked relentlessly on research, data analysis and the correlation between simulator and racetrack to improve the car&rsquo;s behaviour and team operations.

After scooping the 2025 FIA Hypercar World Endurance Manufacturers&rsquo; and Drivers&rsquo; Championship titles, Ferrari-AF Corse fully intends to cement its N&deg;1 ranking. While the Prancing Horse will be aiming for victory in every round of the FIA WEC, the Italian stable is fully aware that the competition will be tougher than ever this year. &ldquo;We will approach the challenge with maximum focus, without allowing ourselves to be affected if things do not always go perfectly,&rdquo; said Antonello Coletta, Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti. &ldquo;Our drivers have a wealth of experience, so I am confident that none of them will feel the weight of starting the season as reigning world champions.&rdquo;&nbsp;Fernandino Cannizzo, Head of Endurance Race Cars, added: &ldquo;The races in which we struggled in 2025 were the ones that gave us the clearest indications for improvement.&rdquo;

Ferrari reveals 499P livery for 2026

The 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans (10-14 June 2026) will feature several teams who are set to compete in the legendary race for the first time. Here‘s the lowdown on four rookie outfits.

<h2>Genesis Magma Racing</h2>

Spectators attending the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans will get a first chance to see how the <a href="https://www.24h-lemans.com/en/news/genesis-takes-the-wraps-of-its-gmr-001-hypercar-59196" target="_blank">Genesis GMR-001-Hypercar</a> copes with the famous circuit in La Sarthe. The Korean manufacturer will take on Alpine, Aston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Peugeot and Toyota in the Hypercar class. After a year devoted to the car&rsquo;s development and to putting together a top-grade team, Genesis will get down to the real business on 28 March when the FIA World Endurance Championship raises the curtain on the 2026 season with the Qatar 1812&nbsp;Km.

Two Genesis GMR-001-Hypercars will be on the grid. The #17 will be driven by Andr&eacute; Lotterer, Luis Felipe Derani&nbsp;and&nbsp;Mathys Jaubert. Meanwhile, Mathieu Jaminet, Paul-Loup Chatin&nbsp;and&nbsp;Daniel Juncadella&nbsp;will share the wheel of the #19 sister car.

A few months ago,&nbsp;Cyril Abiteboul,&nbsp;Genesis Magma Racing Team Principal and President of Hyundai Motorsport, gave us an update on the Korean hypercar&rsquo;s development.&nbsp;&ldquo;It&#39;s been a positive, busy and constructive year in which we have not only delivered a great looking sportscar but also built a racing team and established a team base that will be crucial in preparing ourselves over the winter,&rdquo; he said.&nbsp;&ldquo;From shakedown onwards, it was a succession of tests with clear plans and targets, and an action plan between each session. It&#39;s been busy, but it&#39;s been very structured.&rdquo;

Before the car is homologated, Genesis Magma Racing will conduct several more test sessions as there will be limited scope for alterations from that point. The GMR-001-Hypercar&rsquo;s engine has already racked up over 8,000 kilometres in testing. &ldquo;Our target for the start of the year is for us to have both a car and team &ndash; including the drivers &ndash; that are reliable and make no mistakes, with the focus on completing the race,&rdquo; Abiteboul continued. &ldquo;If we can do that, then it will be about building competitiveness.&rdquo;

With its special lighting signature and the sound of its V8, the Genesis GMR-001-Hypercar could well become a Le Mans crowd favourite.

<h2>RD Limited</h2>

After a promising Asian Le Mans Series campaign with one win and five podiums, RD Limited will compete in the team&rsquo;s first 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 class. Romain Dumas &ndash; a Le Mans winner in 2010 with Audi and in 2016 with Porsche &ndash; is the man behind the project.

The #48 Oreca 07-Gibson will take on 18 other LMP2 prototypes in a category where every team has a chance. RD Limited can bank on the experienced Dumas (23 starts) to avoid the pitfalls that lie in wait at the French endurance classic.

<h2>Garage 59</h2>

This British outfit will represent McLaren in the LMGT3 class throughout the FIA WEC season, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans. They take over from United Autosports who are now focused on the Woking-based firm&rsquo;s Hypercar programme. Garage 59 will run the programme alongside their entry in the GT World Challenge Europe in which they have been the most successful McLaren GT3 stable over the last decade.

The #10 McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo will be driven by Antares Au, GT class winner in the 2024-2025 Asian Le Mans Series, Thomas Fleming and McLaren works driver Marvin Kirchh&ouml;fer. Team owner Alexander West, former Akkodis ASP Team driver Finn Gehrsitz, and McLaren works driver Benjamin Goethe will share the wheel of the #58 car.

A huge challenge awaits Garage 59, but the British team is well armed with bags of experience of GT3 and the McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo.&nbsp; At the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans, neither of the McLarens entered by United Autosports saw the chequered flag. The Anglo-American team finished the season 11th and 12th in the FIA Endurance Trophy for LMGT3 Teams standings.

<h2>13 Autosport</h2>

13 Autosport is the new name of Canadian outfit AWA Racing who compete in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Last year, the team ran a Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R at&nbsp;the 24 Hours of Le Mans (P10 in the LMGT3 class). Despite the name change, the line-up for 2026 remains the same: Orey Fidani, Lars Kern and Matthew Bell. Fidani earned an invitation to the French endurance classic by winning the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship&rsquo;s Bob Akin Award presented&nbsp;to the season&rsquo;s best Bronze driver in the GTD class. &nbsp;

A d&eacute;but appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans is always a key landmark in the life of a racing team. Beyond the sporting aspect, it elevates the team to another dimension. Genesis Magma Racing in Hypercar, RD Limited in LMP2, and Garage 59 and 13 Autosport in LMGT3 are all gearing up to clear a significant hurdle in their development.

2026 24 Hours of Le Mans – New teams braced to make history

The Iron Lynx driver trio of the #85 Ferrari 488 GTE EVO is entered in LMGTE Am at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the second year running. All three would like to see more women taking part in motorsport. Named &ldquo;Iron Dames&rdquo;, the social media campaign intends to inspire women and sweep aside stereotypes and preconceived ideas about racing.

The idea is to complete the phrase &ldquo;I&rsquo;m an Iron Dame when...&rdquo; by sharing

<ul>
	<li>a moment when they felt particularly strong,</li>
	<li>or a child&rsquo;s drawing of anything racing-related, such as a helmet or racing car.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

Participants are invited to tag @iron.dames and @fiawim on Instagram and @irondamesofficial on Facebook, add the hashtag #BeAnIronDame, and invite five friends to join in.

The Iron Dames project was initiated by Deborah Mayer, Ferrari ambassadress for women in motorsport. In 2019, Gostner, Frey and Gatting formed the first all-women crew to race a Ferrari 488 GTE at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
