The Peugeot Sport driver was all smiles after the qualifying session.
"I achieved the lap that I imagined in my head and even better. To drive a prototype on this track is just fantastic. I was fortunate to have a clear lap and attack. My 'off' yesterday shook me because I took about 8g when I hit the barriers and 5g laterally. My pole is a way of saying thank you to the mechanics who worked through the night to rebuild the car. The front row for Peugeot is important because it is very important for us to win the ILMC. It's very nice to be in America for the second round of the Cup. "
