Two new cars and an anniversary in 2012: Henri Pescarolo is preparing for particularly full and emotional year.

Pescarolo Team will be alive and well in the World Endurance Championship WEC, with a brand new Pescarolo-Judd prototype under development, which will be driven by Emmanuel Collard, Christophe Tinseau and Julien Jousse, the winning trio in the Le Mans Series 2011. Another novelty will be participation by the French team with a Dome chassis, also powered by Judd, that will participate in the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and Le Mans 24 Hours. For the occasion, Sebastien Bourdais and Nicolas Minassian will drive, with a Japanese driver yet to be confirmed. Bourdais is a four-time driver at the 24 Hours (2000-2001-2002-2004) with Henri Pescarolo, Minassian three times (2003, 2004, 2006). Both were driving a Pescarolo C60, shared in 2004 with Emmanuel Collard.

President of Dome, Minoru Hayashi welcomed the partnership: "Dome is a small independent manufacturer that invests all its profits in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We are confident that Pescarolo Team is the best team to run our Dome S102.5 under its excellent track record against works teams of manufacturers operating with much more substantial budgets. "

For the fortieth anniversary of the first victory of Henri Pescarolo at the Le Mans 24 Hours will be marked by a special commemorative event scheduled for Saturday, 16th June in the morning before the start of the 80th edition.
