WEC - André Lotterer's (Porsche) new colors

A few weeks ago, Porsche announced its driver line-ups for 2017. In addition to Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber, already official Porsche drivers and winners at the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans with the German marque, the new recruit is none other than André Lotterer...and he has already done his first laps on the track in the 919 Hybrid.

A few days ago, Porsche was conducting testings sessions at the Motorland Aragon circuit in Spain with the Porsche 919 Hybrid set to compete in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) this season. The German manufacturer's goal is to defend its two world titles (Manufacturers and Drivers) as well as its status as last winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

André Lotterer, former Audi driver and three-time winner at Le Mans (2011, 2012 and 2014), officially donned his new colors for the occasion. The German driver hit the track in the #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid along with the Brit Nick Tandy and Swiss driver Neel Jani.
