Though Pierre Kaffer will not be able to take the wheel of the CLM P1/01 at Silverstone in the U.K. or at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, the German driver - who will follow the young drivers of the new created Audi Sport racing academy (read article) - will certainly be back for the 24 Hours of Le Mans at which he has won one class victory in nine participations.
The German driver will be replaced by James Rossiter, who has competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice, in 2011 and 2013, and who will make his big return to the LM P1 class private outfit led by Boris Bermes along with drivers Simon Trummer and Oliver Webb.
