At Sebring, Ed Bennett and Scott Atherton, respectively directors of Grand Am and ALMS will unveil the new name, new logo and new classes of this new unified series, following the merger announced last autumn. Since the creation of the American Le Mans Series in 1999, the 12 Hours of Sebring has opened the season in style, as well as being a major "dress rehearsal" for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This will be the last time that will the case this year for Audi and Rebellion Racing in LMP1, and also for Aston Martin Racing in GT.
