2018 24 Hours of Le Mans - What’s happening on Friday 15 June?

With no action on the track the eve of the 24 Hours, local roads are reopened and the festivities move to downtown Le Mans, including the highly anticipated Drivers' Parade.

Tribute will be paid to two marques competing in the 86th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in GT at two gatherings hosted by towns located near the circuit: BMW at the "Classic British Welcome" in Saint Saturnin and Corvette at the "Virage de Mulsanne" in Mulsanne.

Pit lane and the adjacent track will be open to the public. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of a few drivers on their way to their respective teams' press conferences.

The day will end with THE moment everyone has been anticipating. Fans and casual observers, locals and tourists, young and old: a massive crowd will gather along the route of the Drivers' Parade. Each driver line-up can be seen in a vintage convertible car that snakes through downtown Le Mans from the Place des Jacobins. It's an unforgettable experience shared between competitor and spectator!

See you back here tomorrow for the day’s schedule!
