2018 24 Hours of Le Mans - What's happening on Monday 11 June?

The festivities continue today in downtown Le Mans with the second and final day of Scrutineering, administrative and technical checks for the 86th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as the handprint ceremony for last year's winners.

Racing Team Nederland's #29 Dallara will kick things off at the Place de la République at 9:30 a.m. with none other than 1988 winner Jan Lammers competing in his 24th running of the race!

GT fans, get ready! With the exception of Chevrolet Corvette, all the cars are scheduled for today, from BMW before lunch to Ferrari, Aston Martin and Porsche in the afternoon.

The four Ford GTs will bring to an end the administrative and technical checks at 5:10 p.m. local time, just after the highly anticipated appearance of Toyota and Fernando Alonso at 3:50 p.m. The two-time F1 world champion will have been preceded by Juan Pablo Montoya whose team United Autosports will close the morning.

Also at the Place de la République, on the sidelines of Scrutineering, several renowned authors will be available to sign their books and publications for you, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., then from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. They include Dominique Donné, Guillaume Lopez, Joël Béroul, Denis Bernard, Christian Papazoglakis, Robert Paquet, Lucien Beckers and Yahn Janou.

Lastly, at 6:00 p.m. the party will move to the Place Saint Nicolas where the handprint plaque of the winners of the 2017 edition, namely Timo Bernhard, Earl Bamber (rivals in a Porsche 911 RSR this year) and Brendon Hartley (now in F1) will be unveiled.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to find out what's happening on Tuesday 12 June!
