2020 24 Hours of Le Mans – Updated provisional entry list includes third Iron Lynx car

The provisional entry list for the 2020 24 Hours of Le Mans has been updated. A third car will now be fielded by Iron Lynx in the LMGTE Am class, matching Team Project 1 and Dempsey-Proton Racing. The AF Corse team will participate with four cars between LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am, as will Aston Martin.

This year's 24 Hours of Le Mans will be held on 19-20 September behind closed doors as a result of COVID-19. The provisional entry list now boasts 59 cars set to take the start in the race, including three Ferrari 488 GTE EVOs entered by Iron Lynx.

Italian driver Sergio Pianezzola and team principal Andrea Piccini intend to take full advantage of the opportunity. Piccini: "Iron Lynx is honoured and proud to have the opportunity to participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the greatest endurance race in the world, with three Ferraris. Each one of our cars will be competing in the LMGTE Am class. The Iron Dames car will be driven by an all-female driver line-up (Gostner, Frey and Gatting, Ed.) with the support of the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission. They are particularly thrilled and motivated to be returning to Le Mans."

The start of the 88th 24 Hours of Le Mans will be given on Saturday 19 September at 14:30 local time.
