2023 24 Hours of Le Mans – Wednesday 7 June programme

The 62 teams in the 24 Hours Centenary retake the track today for the first free practice and qualifying sessions. Competitors in the Road to Le Mans, Ferrari Challenge and Porsche Carrera Cup support races will also serve up action during their free practice sessions.

24 Hours of Le Mans | Free Practice 1

From 14:00 to 17:00 then from 22:00 to midnight, competitors will be given five hours of track time to tweak car settings for the race. On the programme are long stints, aerodynamic testing, driver installations, tyre and fuel consumption tests, and more. Some drivers will be tempted to increase the pace in order to establish an initial hierarchy.

24 Hours of Le Mans | Qualifying 1

The action on the track will ramp up between 19:00 and 20:00 with drivers working to clock the fastest times and qualify for the next day's Hyperpole with the top 8 in each class.

Road to Le Mans

The main event on the 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup calendar will see 58 cars (38 LMP3s and 20 GT3s) compete. Road to Le Mans welcomes a special racer this year: nine-time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi at the wheel of a BMW M4 GT3 fielded by WRT.

Competitors will take part in two one-hour free practice sessions, the first from 11:30 to 12:30 and the second from 20:30 to 21:30.

Porsche Carrera Cup | Free Practice 1

The first level of the pyramid established by Porsche Motorsport, the Porsche Carrera Cup is a top one-make competition. It is considered a hotbed of talent, allowing rookies to take their first laps in a Porsche and amateur drivers to indulge their passion in ideal conditions. The drivers will take the wheel of their Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 992) from 09:00 to 09:45 for Free Practice 1.

Ferrari Challenge

This support race is for competitors in the Ferrari Challenge Europe and Ferrari Challenge North America, and is reserved for amateur drivers at the wheel of a Ferrari 488 Challenge Evo. The 24 Hours circuit is hosting the fourth of six rounds on the 2023 calendar. The Free Practice is scheduled from 10:15 and 11:00.

Zazie Concert

After the success of ZAZIESSENCIEL TOUR, Zazie is back with AIR TOUR kicked off with the single "Let It Shine" and her new project, AILE-P. The French singer-songwriter and her band can't wait to take the stage at 20:00!

The 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary exhibition

The grand 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary exhibition will be open to the public every day of Race Week. The installation highlights 86 outstanding cars: 65 winners and 21 cars that otherwise made history at the 24 Hours. Organised in collaboration with Peter Auto, the exhibition takes visitors through 100 years of history including the evolution of the circuit, records set and major events that marked the race.

An exhibition of prestigious 24 Hours VINTAGE cars in the Le Mans City centre

The city of Le Mans is joining in the 24 Hours Centenary celebrations with an entertainment-packed programme, including an exhibition of prestigious vintage cars from the race at the place du Jet d’eau in the city centre from 10:00 to 18:00.
