At 12:11 the #6 Toyota pitted and left nine minutes later with a new bonnet and side. It remains in third place while the #8 Audi just behind has more new brake discs. At 12:42, the #2 Porsche 919 Hybrid driven by Neel Jani refuelled without changing tyres. A minute later, Kazuki Nakajima took over from Anthony Davidson in the #5 Toyota in P1. Mark Webber in the #1 Porsche 919 is making up lost ground and is now in sixteenth position.

No change in LM P2: the #36 Alpine A460 still leads, with Stéphane Richelmi at the wheel. The #48 Oreca 03R fielded by Murphy Prototypes resumed the race after an hour in the garage for electrical repairs.

In LM GTE Pro, the #68 Ford GT by Ford Chip Ganassi Racing made a routine pitstop at 12:50. Dirk Müller replaced Joey Hand.

No change in LM GTE Am. Stuck in sixth gear, the #98 Aston Martin Vantage stopped in the Dunlop chicane. Mathias Lauda managed to squeeze an extra few metres but ground to a halt again. The #60 Ferrari was hit with a drive-through for refuelling without switching off the engine. It was signalled slow in track and had to change the front splitter.
