The first season of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup ended with the first major endurance race to be run in China. An event which kept all its promises.

This highly anticipated race also demonstrated the prominence of French teams and drivers in endurance racing. A third win in three races after 1000 km of Silverstone and the Petit Le Mans, gave Team Peugeot Total a remarkable grand slam when they took victory in the closing race of the ILMC 2010s. Success also for OAK Racing and Larbre Competition, who won victory and title, respectively, in LM GT1 and LM P2. Ferrari were the exception, taking the title in LM GT2.

China is the largest car market in the world. This means the expectations were high in the 1000 km of Zhuhai for Peugeot, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, all present with factory teams. The history of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, is just beginning ...
