In addition to the FIA Endurance Private LM P1 Teams and Drivers trophies in the World Endurance Championship (for Rebellion Racing and Mathias Beche) and the LM P2 drivers title in the European Le Mans Series (for Gary Hirsch), other Swiss citizens made their marks in 2015.
Marcel Fässler, the challenger - At the wheel of the No. 7 Audi R18 e-tron quattro, he challenged up to and during the finale of the World Championship at Bahrain the drivers title defended by Timo Bernhard, Brendon Hartley and Mark Webber (No. 17 Porsche 919 Hybrid). The trio Fässler-Lotterer-Tréluyer won two victories and claimed six podium finishes in eight races in 2015.
Neel Jani, the poleman - Though at the wheel of the No. 18 919 Hybrid he has not had the same success as his World Champion outfit mates, Neel Jani has still solidified his status at Porsche, with a stunning pole position at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and also the win at Bahrain, along with his teammates Marc Lieb and Romain Dumas.
Alexandre Imperatori and Mathéo Tuscher, the winners - In addition to Mathias Beche, Rebellion Racing brought into the fold two more Swiss drivers in 2015, Alexandre Imperatori and Mathéo Tuscher. The first won two victories in the FIA Endurance Private LM P1 Teams Trophy at Le Mans and Bahrain. For the latter race, he was joined by Mathéo Tuscher, a newcomer in the Swiss outfit.
