Since 1970, the date of Porsche's first win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, there have been 28 drivers whom have brought the German manufacturer to victory at Le Mans.
Among them figure the last two win record-holders at the 24 Hours of Le Mans: Jacky Ickx (from 1981 to 2004) and Tom Kristensen (since 2005).
Of the seven drivers whom have won at Le Mans multiple times with Porsche, five have won all their victories at the 24 Hours at the wheel of a German manufacturer's car: Hurley Haywood, Klaus Ludwig, Al Hobert, Gijs van Lennep and Hans Joachim Stück. Six others have won at least once with another manufacturer: Jacky Ickx (1969 with Ford, 1975 with Mirage), Derek Bell (1975 with Mirage), Henri Pescarolo (1972-73-74 with Matra), Alexander Wurz (2009 with Peugeot), Tom Kristensen (2000-2001-2002-2004-2005-2008-2013 with Audi, 2003 with Bentley) and Allan McNish (2008 and 2013 with Audi).
