24 Hours of Le Mans 2014 - Boutsen Ginion Racing goes for a driver lineup 100% from Le Mans

Seventh in the final ranking of the European Le Mans Series with an Oreca-Nissan LM P2 in 2013, the Boutsen Ginion Racing team filed an invitation request for the 82nd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The team has identified Le Mans native Vincent Capillaire as main driver.

The Belgian team, created by Olivier Lainé, has raced in La Sarthe for the last two years, with 10th and 11th places in the LM P2 class and the satisfaction of passing under the checkered flag each time

The Boutsen Ginion Racing team, if selected, intends to race the Oreca-Nissan car with a driver lineup entirely from La Sarthe and chose Vincent as its main driver.  Born in Le Mans, he has dreamed of racing in the 24 Hours:  "I continue to work to make the dream a reality and I continue to prepare myself physically, technically.  To be within reach of my main career goal reinforces my motivation.  I work all year at the Le Mans track, I live in Le Mans and I was born in Le Mans.  Racing at the 24 Hours has become a life goal.  To achieve it with a project as strong as Sarthe Objectif 24! (SO24!), and with a team I know is ultra- competent has doubled my determination."

SO24! – partnered with Boutsen Ginion Racing – works to have a 100% driver squad from La Sarthe.  Will it win its bet if the team is selected on February 13th?  The answer:  June 14th and 15th  (ticket information.)
