The choice of MG (Morris Garages) for 2015 is explained by the fact the British constructor clinched a class win in 1935 thanks to the duo Philippe Maillard-Brune and Charles Druck, all while entering three 100% femaile driver line-ups. More recently, between 2001 and 2006, MG Lola chassis took the start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with, namely, British driver Jonny Kane, who will be at the start this year with Strakka Racing and who won in the LM P2 class in 2010.
The choice of Tom Kristensen as honorary guest is no surprise since the victory record-holder at Le Mans (nine trophies) retired at the end of last year and will serve as the Grand Marshal of the 83rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Head to Saint-Saturnin, at the Val-de-Vray Centre Culturel et d'Animation on June 12, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. local time for the Classic British Welcome. Don't hesitate, admission is free!
