24 Hours of Le Mans 2016 - Second red flag on free practice session

The free practice session for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans has been red-flagged once again. The second was at 19:25 when Bruno Senna went off at Indianapolis in the #43 Ligier JS P2 fielded by RGR Sport by Morand.

The first red flag was at 17:49 when the #4 CLM P1/01 caught fire. The marshals managed to clear the area quickly and the session recommenced at 18:03.

Since the race recommenced at 18:03 Brendon Hartley has taken the lead in the #1 Porsche 919 Hybrid with a lap at 03:22.550.

Lucas Di Grassi caused a stir in the Audi camp. The Brazilian only just avoided the wall in the Forza Motorsport chicane and the #8 R18 hobbled back to the pits. The session recommenced at 19:34 with 30 minutes to go before the break at 20:00.
