24 Hours of Le Mans - 30 years of Peugeot Sport victories (video)

Peugeot Sport's last 30 years include plenty of wins both in rally, with several World Champion titles, and in endurance with three victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans: two in the 1990s, then one in 2009.

Peugeot's history at the 24 Hours of Le Mans can be split in two. First the 1990s with the 905, under the auspices of Jean Todt, now President of the FIA. That first experience ended in two wins, in 1992 (Mark Blundell, Yannick Dalmas and Derek Warwick) and in 1993 (Christophe Bouchut, Geoff Brabham and Eric Hélary) before the French manufacturer bowed out to come back stronger in the mid-2000s with the 908 HDi FAP. That time, the French marque won just once, in 2009 with David Brabham (Geoff's brother), Marc Gené and Alexander Wurz, for whom it was a second victory at Le Mans. The car did however win the Le Mans Series in 2007, then the ILMC (Intercontinental Le Mans Cup), predecessor to the World Endurance Championship (WEC), in 2010 and 2011.
