24 Hours of Le Mans - A couple of bright new liveries for the Rebellion Racing cars

Rebellion Racing’s two R13-Gibsons entered in the LMP1 class at the the the 24 Hours of Le Mans (15-16 June 2019) have undergone a makeover since Test Day. The two prototypes are now sporting a riotous fluorescent design dreamed up by musician Tomyboy, known for his RocketByz concept.

Rebellion Racing and Tomyboy have opted for a loud, funky theme for the new liveries for the #1 and #3 Rebellion R13-Gibsons. A bright rebellious style for the outfit who, in their press release, describe themselves as “a team rebels having a good time”. After three months hard work and enthusiasm, the Rebellion x RocketByz combo are clearly delighted to be able to reveal a bright, modern, rebellious image of Rebellion Corporation at the 2019 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Tomyboy has his own distinctive style using fluorescent colours to create art that makes an immediate impact. It’s loud and funky, it’s all about positive vibes! We wanted the most colourful concept possible. Tomy’s project covers  REBELLION across the board, from our racing cars to our watches and plenty more, which will be on show at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We really enjoyed working with the rebellious artist,” says Alexandre Pesci, Chairman of the Board and owner of Rebellion Corporation.

In addition to the two Rebellion R13-Gibsons, there are eight other cars sporting a special livery for the 87th 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Super Finale of the 2018-19 FIA WEC World Endurance Championship: the #66 and #67 FORD GTs entered by Ford Chip Ganassi Team UK, the #68 and #69 FORD GT fielded by FORD CHIP GANASSI TEAM USA, the #89 FERRARI 488 GTE for Risi Competizione, the #56 Porsche 911 RSR for TEAM PROJECT 1, the #84 FERRARI 488 GTE for JMW MOTORSPORT and the #85 FORD GT for Keating Motorsports.
The #1 Rebellion R13-Gibson is driven by Neel Jani, André Lotterer and Bruno Senna, while the #3 has Thomas Laurent, Nathanaël Berthon and Gustavo Menezes at the wheel.
