The Super Season was largely dominated by TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's #7 and #8 Toyota TS050 HYBRIDs. The team currently has 177 points in the provisional classification in the FIA Endurance LMP1 Team Trophy. Rebellion Racing is in second place with 116 points, trailed by SMP Racing with 86 points. While Toyota has claimed the crown, the three teams will still battle it out to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The non-hybrid cars have proved throughout the season they are not to be underestimated. Improvements have been made, reducing the difference in performance between the hybrids and non-hybrids. Second and third places are still undecided in the championship.
