24 Hours of Le Mans : One hundred days to go

Sebring, Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps will be a way for some of the competitors to perpare for June. The three circuits are as different as they are legendary.

12 Hours of Sebring (March 16, 2013) - By a happy coincidence of the motorsport calendar, the first event taking place at this very moment. In 2012, the 12 Hours of Sebring marked the start of the new FIA World Endurance Championship and was also the celebration the 60th anniversary of the event. This year, once again Sebring has a rendezvous with history, because on Thursday the 14th of March the outline of the future American series of endurance racing, created from the merger of the American Le Mans Series with Grand Am is announced. The rough concrete slab surface of Sebring is unforgiving for racing machines, and those who emerge "intact" have a great chance of doing well in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

6 Hours of Silverstone / Tourist Trophy (14th of April 2013) - The opening of the FIA World Endurance Championship 2013 will include one of the most famous prizes in the history of British motorsport: the Tourist Trophy . An additional source of motivation for British teams to participate in this race. These include Aston Martin, with an exceptional entry of four cars in LM GTE to celebrate its centenary. The 6 Hours of Silverstone will also be the opportunity to see all the major opponents expected at Le Mans this year for the first time on the track, and in all classes, starting with Audi and Toyota, who will continue the duel they began in the second half of the 2012 season in LM P1. Silverstone will also host the first round of the European Le Mans Series season, some of whose competitors will also be in La Sarthe in mid-June.

6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps WEC (4th May 2013) - Once again, the fabulous circuit of the Belgian Ardennes will host the final "dress rehearsal" before the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Its capricious weather conditions are also a good preparation for confronting the thirteen kilometres of La Sarthe. The intensity will rise a few more degrees at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, that we all look forward to all the more as it will be celebrating its 90th anniversary. For competitors of the FIA World Endurance Championship it also scores double points.
