Staff at Toyota's European competition headquarters in Cologne, Germany cheered on the triumphant #8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid upon its return, and the 2022 24 Hours of Le Mans trophy as well as the Hyperpole have been added to TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's already full glass showcase.
The #8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid was driven by Sébastien Buemi, Brandon Hartley and Ryō Hirakawa. The team pulled off a one-two with the #7 of Conway/Kobayashi/López finishing second 2:01 seconds behind the winners.
