The French team ART Grand Prix could turn to the endurance racing and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This is the ambition of Frédéric Vasseur, one of two owners of the team.
The team won numerous titles in Formula 3, GP2 and GP3. Lewis Hamilton, Adrian Sutil, Sebastian Vettel, Romain Grosjean and many other drivers drove cars prepared at Villeneuve-la-Guyard. Today, Frederic Vasseur faces new challenges.
"We made the decision to quit Formula 3, and I try to install a new program for the team," said Nicolas Todt's partner in Autosport magazine. Nothing is decided yet, but the 24 Hours of Le Mans interests me very much and I'm working on it."
The obvious thing would be an association with Lotus, the future partner of the team in GP2 who will return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 with an LM P2 prototype.
