Asian Le Mans Series – 26 cars on the 4 Hours of Tailem Bend starting grid

The second round of the 2019-2020 Asian Le Mans Series season is scheduled for 10-12 January at The Bend Motorsport Park in Australia with 26 cars expected to hit the track.

After a stunning first race at Shanghai, less than a month remains before the teams competing in the 2019-2020 Asian Le Mans Series season hit the track again, this time in Australia. The second round will be held at The Bend, a 7.7 km permanent circuit located about 100 kilometers from Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. This will be the Asian Le Mans Series's first visit to the country, and the first time in 20 years that 24 Hours of Le Mans prototypes will compete on Australian soil. It will also be the first race organized there by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.

New Zealander Nick Cassidy will make his debut at the wheel of Eurasia Motorsport's #1 Ligier JS P217, replacing Masataka Yanagida. The South Australian Garnet Patterson will replace Kang Ling in ARC Bratislava's #4 Ligier JS P2 in the LMP2 Am class. Second at the 4 Hours of Shanghai, Australian drivers Nick Foster and Aidan Read will be looking for a good showing at home with Eurasia Motorsport's #36 Ligier JS P217.
