This completely new circuit has its baptism of fire, with the Porsche Cup Asia, Ferrari Challenge, Audi R8 Cup with consistent grids, and the Asian Le Mans Series with a small grid out but with no less than Kamui Kobayashi and Stephan Mücke driving, not to mention the young and emerging Asian drivers.
Starting with the participation of Prince Birabongsé Bhanudej Bhanubandh "Prince Bira" of Thailand in 1939 at the wheel of an Aston Martin, and who returned in 1954 again driving an Aston Martin, an Asian flavour has swept through the world motor sport, and both manufacturers and drivers are a force to be reckoned with. This round of the Asian Le Mans Series in South Korean, includes the Le Mans regulars the Taisan team . At Inje there is a tangible enthusiasm for the sport and this significant investment in a new circuit should give a renewed impetus.
