Thunderhead Carlin Racing was first across the line with the #45 Dallara P217. The result puts the British outfit second in the championship standings. G-Drive Racing by Algarve (#36 Aurus 01-Gibson) remains in the lead, nine points ahead. Eurasia Motorsport lies third. In the Asian Le Mans Series, a win is worth 25 points. There will be everything to race for at the 4 Hours of Buriram (Thailand), the last race of the season, on 23 February.  

In the LMP2-Am class Rick Ware Racing (#52 Ligier JS P2) has already beaten RLR Msport (#59 Oreca 05-Nissan) to the title.

However, the denouement of LMP3 hangs on the 4 Hours of Buriram. Four teams are still in the running for the class title:  Inter Europol Competition (#13 Ligier JS P3), Nielsen Racing (#2 Norma M30), Graff (#9 Norma M30) and ACE1 Villorba Corse (#12 Ligier JS P3). There are 22 points between the four.

GT category promises excitement too. Japanese team JLOC (#88 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo #) is currently leader of the pack, trailed by Car Guy (#7 Ferrari 488 GT3) and HubAuto Corsa (#27 Ferrari 488 GT3). However, four other teams are also in a position to win the title: Spirit Of Race (#51 Ferrari 488 GT3), D’Station Racing (#77 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3), T2 Motorsports (#75 Ferrari 488 GT3) and Astro Veloce Motorsports (#17 BMW M6 GT3).

All in all, the 4 Hours of Buriram will be packing plenty of nail-biting into a “short” endurance race! Not only is there a championship to be won, but there are invitations to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans to be claimed!
