Christophe has countless world titles and international victories to his name. A native of Voiron near Grenoble in the French Alps, he will be 45 in September. His children Eva, 12, and Romain, 10 are in his footsteps.
A skilled show jumper, both nationally and internationally, Eva attended a horse show this weekend; 'Boulerie Jump' at Yvré L’Evêque. The production team took the opportunity of shooting the Bouchut family on the nearby Le Mans circuit, the location of her father's 17 participations at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including an overall victory driving a Peugeot 905. Romain, the youngest of the family, shares his father's passion for driving, winning the Champions League Ile de France mini-karting last season.
A pillar of endurance racing, Christophe Bouchut will practice his driving skills this season with the American team Level 5 Motorsport, driving a Lola chassis powered by Honda Performance Development, to be shared with Scott Tucker. The LM P2 car will compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and also the entire season of ILMC.
