A real must-see of the festivities surrounding the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the three big free* concert evenings are the perfect opportunity for the public to discover future headliners as opening acts.
While legendary band Kool & The Gang, the French revelation Amir, and The Celtique Social Club will share top billing at the three free concerts near the Dunlop bridge, each of their performances will be preceded by opening acts:
BABEL
This band from the Maine-et-Loire region of France has four members (including a violinist). The group's predominant style is French music mixed with slam, rock and electronica similar to Dionysos. The band is known for its stunning stage presence and will play songs from its latest album entited "Babel" for the 24 Hours of Le Mans concert-goers.
JIVE ME
This group from Bordeaux explores a wide variety of musical genres, from electro-swing to hip hop, all with the feel of vintage identity like Caravan Palace.
LA POISON
This group includes Daniel Jamet, former guitarist with Mano Solo and Mano Negra, this electrochemical rock band will let the crowd of 24 Hours of Le Mans concert-goers let loose and free the beast within it!
DJ ORDOEUVRE
This three-time scratch champion of France deejay blends two styles of music, Future and Retro, to cater to the tastes of electronica fans as well as Rockabilly. Ordoeuvre pushes the limits of your typical dj set and incorporates in his mixes incisive scratches and other technical mastery. It's a must-see!
DJ LORAN BY RTL 2 (after Kool & The Gang)
To end on a high note, DJ Loran, the dj of Pop-Rock Party de RTL2, will take the stage at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With influences from Pop-Rock, Hip-Hop and Electro, Loran will deliver an energetic set like only he knows how.
