You are living a real dream come true, is this true?

Cooper MacNeill: "As a child, I always thought that Le Mans was something great, that there is nothing greater than Le Mans! This is simply the biggest and most famous automobile race in the world! It is true that having the opportunity to drive on this great circuit is a dream come true!"

What are your first impressions of this circuit?

"My first laps were good. I drove at 50% to be sure that I was going to do my mandatory 10 laps. Then I started going a little faster and pushed harder! But the weather was so unpredictable and so changeable that it was difficult to learn the circuit! I still need to do more runnung to know this circuit better, but I'll have time this week."

Is this what you expected?

"No! (laughs) It's a lot harder than I thought! I knew it was a high speed circuit, but I had not realized how it could be this fast!"

How were the first laps during the test day?

"I would have liked a little more time running on the track,but it was still a good day"

You're American, you drive an American car but in a French team. Rather fun is it?

"Yes, it is true that it is quite funny but it's great! I am delighted to drive an American car that is especially good! This type of car won for the last two years, so it's a good car. As for the team, it is very competent, we'll see next Sunday where we will be at the finish!"

What are your goals for next Sunday?

"Winning, of course! Of course, we can do it, that is not in doubt!"
