Pedro Lamy and Paul Dalla Lana joined forces in the World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) in 2014, winning the LMGTE Am class three times. At the time, their teammate was Danish driver Kristoffer Nygaard, replaced in 2015 by Mathias Lauda. Over the course of the last three seasons, the trio has clinched 12 victories, but has never reached the top step on podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With Pedro Lamy's experience level, Mathias Lauda's reliability and gentleman-driver Paul Dalla Lana's steady progress, this driver line-up is a model example of the spirit of endurance racing, a perfect balance of friendship and effectiveness on the track. What's their plan of attack for the 24 Hours of Le Mans? Are they out for revenge or very motivated?
Paul Dalla Lana: "In fact, it’s about both. Over the past few years, we had some bad luck and made some mistakes. But we kept focused and could put everything together last year. We come back this year with more hunger to win, with Le Mans clearly in mind. We dominated some parts of this race but never made it unfortunately. The competition will be harder this year and it is very motivating. We like the challenge, we like to fight for the win."
