The Morgan Judd shared by Matthieu Lahaye and Jaques Nicolet will start from pole position in the 6 Hours of Donington, 2nd round of the European Le Mans Series.
After dominating the early running in LM P2 Oak Racing team had a difficult 80th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours last month. The team who are based in Le Mans, represent the manufacturer Morgan in endurance racing. They appear to have the pace to make up for the 24 hours this weekend in England. Lahaye succeeded in placing his prototype in pole position for the 6 hours Donington, 0.141 seconds ahead of the Nissan Oreca Thiriet by TDS Racing, who were second at Le Mans. Third on the grid is the Zytek Nissan driven by Sam Hancock and fourth the other Morgan (Nissan) of Olivier Pla.
Ferrari dominated GTE Pro and GTE Am with Jonathan Cocker and Marco Cioci.
If the rain spared the competitors on Saturday, but rainfall is expected tomorrow for the race that will start at 11:55 (local time).
