Double program in both the WEC and ELMS for Greaves Motorsport in 2016

Greaves Motorsport will have quite a loaded program in 2016 with, like this year, the European Le Mans Series with the Gibson 015S and the World Endurance Championship (WEC) with a Ligier JS P2 the British team recently purchased.

The champion team in the European championship in 2015 will not simply defend its title with the same car next year as it will race in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) with a Ligier JS P2 developed by Onroak Automotive.

Jacob Greaves' outfit, which won in LM P2 at the 2011 edition of the 24 Hours, was forced to retire at Le Mans this year. It will return stronger than ever, still with a Nissan engine and Dunlop tyres, in 2016 after preparations that will begin in December.

Jacob Greaves, team principal: "We were not anticipating the high level of interest for next season. We sold our other Gibson chassis earlier in the year so we weighed up all the options and for us the Ligier was the obvious choice. We plan to start the program with Ligier in December in preparation for 2016."

The 2016 season will kick off in April with Silverstone, in the U.K., for Greaves Motorsport, whether in ELMS or WEC.
