Driver line-up confirmed for Keating Motorsports Ferrari destined for Le Mans

The trio to take the wheel of the Ferrari 488 GTE entered in the LMGTE Am class by Keating Motorsports, in partnership with Risi Competizione, has now been finalized thanks to the arrival of Luca Stolz to support Ben Keating and Jeroen Bleekemolen.

Though Stolz will be a rookie at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, he is already familiar with the Keating Motorsports team – after finishing fourth in the GTD class at the Rolex 24 at Daytona with the Texan outfit’s Mercedes AMG – and Jeroen Bleekemolen, winner in LMP2 at Le Mans in 2008, with whom he recently claimed the third step on the podium at the famous 12 Hours of Bathurst, the biggest endurance race in Australia.

After single-seaters, the young German driver then turned to GT and the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, and has endurance racing experience thanks to two participations in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

Luca Stolz: "I am very honored to be asked to drive with Ben and Jeroen at this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans. It's every driver's dream to compete at Le Mans and for me that's no different. Although I'm quite young, I have huge endurance racing experience and I feel ready for Le Mans. I'm really looking forward to it."

Ben Keating, who competed at the 2017 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 class, earned an automatic invitation to the 2018 edition when he won the Bob Akin Trophy awarded to the best gentleman-driver of the GTD class in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
