As ever at Le Mans there is a great diversity in the drivers entering the race.
NATONALITIES: 49 Frenchman are entered, and their are 25 British drivers - altogether 23 countries are represented.
ROOKIES: There are 36 Rookies who will be attempting to qualify for this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.
There are 3 rookies in #71 AF Corse Ferrari, Robert Kauffman,Michael Waltrip and Rui Aguas, and 9 other cars have two drivers who are making their debut.
The youngest driver is Andrea Barlesi i #35 Oak Pescarolo who was born on 15th June 1991 so will be only 19 on race day (the youngest ever driver was only 17 in 1959).
The oldest driver is Horst Felbermayr Senior in # 63 Porsche who is 66 years old.
We have royalty here this weekend too with Prince Abdulaziz Turki Al-Faisal in #88 Porsche who is great nepnew of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
