ELMS and Le Mans - Jota Sport (Gibson) welcomes Nick Yelloly

Nick Yelloly, like many of his colleagues and predecessors, cut his teeth in single-seaters before turning to endurance, and more specifically, to the Jota Sport team, victorious in the LM P2 class at the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 24-year-old Brit will compete in the entire European Le Mans Series season and will make his debut at Le Mans on June 13th and 14th.

For the ELMS, Simon Dolan, driver and outfit co-owner, is already counting on Filipe Albuquerque whose partial program with Audi amounts to two FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) races: the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, rehearsal for the big race of the year in Le Mans. After last year's second place finish, Jota Sport intends to enter its Gibson (ex-Zytek) once again in Belgium with Simon Dolan and Nick Yelloly, who has raced in Formula Renault and the GP3 Series, with a win in 2014, like a certain...Jann Mardenborough - since named official Nissan driver.

For now, only Dolan and Yelloly, who should be conducting a test session before taking part in the official ELMS tests in Castellet (March 23rd and 24th), have been announced for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but the owner-driver is looking to repeat last year's performance at Le Mans by finishing on the first step of the podium in the LM P2 class, and fifth overall. On the other hand, he cannot count on Harry Tincknell, now himself an official Nissan driver, to reinforce the driver line-up.
