ELMS – The 4 Hours of Barcelona and Monza postponed

Given the current global health crisis, the European Le Mans Series has decided to postpone the 4 Hours of Barcelona originally scheduled for 4-5 April and the 4 Hours of Monza previously set for 9-10 May.

After consulting local officials and representatives from the Circuit de Barcelone-Catalunya and the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, the European Le Mans Series has made the decision to delay the official tests, the opening round of the season at Barcelona and the 4 Hours of Monza. The new dates for these events will be released soon.

Gérard Neveu, European Le Mans Series CEO: “This decision was not made lightly, but is the appropriate and responsible decision. We had no other choice than to postpone our events. The welfare of our teams, members of the paddock and race fans has to remain our priority. We are working on a revised calendar and will communicate that in the next few days.”
