Hugo de Sadeleer remains with United Autosports

In 2018, the American team will enter two Ligier JS P217-Gibsons (LMP2) in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS). On the heels of Filipe Albuquerque, Phil Hanson and Will Owen, now Hugo de Sadeleer has been confirmed as a team member. The German driver - who finished second in the 2017 ELMS season (#32 Ligier JS P217-Gibson) - will also participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans after debuting at the race this year and finishing fourth in the LMP2 class (fifth overall). Hugo de Sadeleer was awarded the Best Rookie Trophy for his 2017 ELMS season.

Cetilar Villorba Corse in the ELMS in 2018

Cetilar Villorba Corse will once again compete in the European Le Mans Series next year. The Italian team will enter its Dallara JS P217-Gibson in the LMP2 class, but doing so with a second car is also under consideration. A participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans is also on the menu, subject to approval by the Selection Committee. The outfit finished seventh in LMP2 (ninth overall) this past June and was also awarded the ELMS Team of the Year Trophy at the end of the season.

Small cars, big fun

The sixth edition of the 24 Hours of Slot Racing is happening this weekend at Le Mans. Fifteen 1/32 scale models were let loose yesterday with driver line-ups composed of four to six drivers taking turns at the controls for a full 24 hours. The checkered flag is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. if you're in the area!

Clearwater Racing continues in the WEC

Clearwater Racing will participate in the World Endurance Championship's (WEC) 2018/2019 Super Season. The team was the runner-up for the FIA Endurance LMGTE Am Teams Trophy this year. It will once again enter its Ferrari 488 GTE in the same class.

ByKOLLES Racing back to business

ByKOLLES Racing has just wrapped up its second big testing session. After hitting the track at the Hungaroring in Hungary at the end of September, the Austrian team conducted three days of testing at Motorland in Aragon. The outfit intends to enter its Enso CLM P1/01 in the LMP1 class for the 2018/2019 Super Season of the World Endurance Championship (WEC), and of course next year's 24 Hours of Le Mans. Several drivers took turns at the wheel in Spain: Oliver Webb, James Rossiter, Tom Dillmann (2016 World Series Formula V8 3.5 champion), Edoardo Liberati (2016 Asian GT champion) and Mikael Grenier (European Supertrofeo Lamborghini champion).
