It was David Hallyday's schedule that caused him to give up the end of this 2014 ELMS season: the driver-singer-drummer-songwriter will devote himself to various musical and promotional obligations linked to the release of his 11th album expected in fall 2014, and the tour that will follow. Hallyday also participated with Imsa Performance Matmut at the last 24 Hours of Le Mans. For his fifth participation in La Sarthe, he finished 10th in the LM GTE Am class (29th overall) along with the duo Raymond Narac-Nicolas Armindo.

At 22 years of age, Christina Nielsen is the daughter of the Danish driver Lars Erik Nielsen. He finished the four editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans at which he participated (from 2005 to 2008), with as best result 16th place overall in a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR along with Thorkild Thyrring and Pierre Ehret. Familiar with the 911, this year she has competed in several rounds of the American series the Tudor United SportsCar (TUSC) Championship with the Momo NGT team.

The third of five 2014 ELMS rounds will take place Sunday, July 20th at the Red Bull Ring (Austria) circuit.
