The Free exhibition runs from Wednesday, June 19 (14.00) to Sunday June 23 at the Abbey de l' Epau and is Open from: Wednesday, June 19th: 14.00 - 18.00
Thursday 20, Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June: 10.00-12.00  and 14.00-18.00

To celebrate the great history of the race, an exhibition of posters of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will run from 14.00 on Wednesday to Sunday. An unprecedented and unmissable exhibit of the celebration of 90 years of the legendary endurance race. Admission is FREE.

To celebrate the Anniversary of 90 years since the first 24 Hours of Le Mans was run, the General Council of the city and the Automobile Club de l'Ouest are presenting this unique exhibition of all the posters of the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1923 to 2010.

80 official posters or programmes will be on display in the monks dormitory of the Abbey de  l'Epau on Wednesday, June 19 (14.00) to Sunday, June 23 (18.00). The public are invited to discover the visual memories of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The early  attractively designed posters and  programmes offer a festive and  patriotic view as the Second World War approached,  through the early works of illustrators such as Geo Ham, Jeudon, Beligong, Laygnac, etc. and later with the arrival of new photo technology and sponsorship, the posters of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, trace the 90 year history of racing and all have a similar message.  The legend that is the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the magic, the speed, the close racing and overtaking, etc.
