F1 keeps 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary date free

The Formula One World Championship has revealed its 2023 schedule. No Grand Prix will be held on the dates set aside for the 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary, expected to attract a particularly outstanding grid.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary will not clash with a Grand Prix as the weekend of 10-11 June has been kept free in the Formula One World Championship schedule announced today. Motorsport fans can now enjoy the special edition of the legendary French endurance race without missing a round of the F1 season.

Pierre Fillon, President of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest: The Formula One World Championship has published its 2023 calendar. All endurance fans will be delighted to see that no Grand Prix has been scheduled for the 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary weekend next June. I wish to extend my sincere thanks to the FIA, President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, and Formula One Management for reaching this important decision.
