Matthieu Vaxivière clinched pole position with a stunning time of 1:30.364 ahead of the #8 and #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrids, respectively. Glickenhaus Racing failed to reach its full potential during qualifying, so the team's Glickenhaus 007 LMH will take its rookie start from the 11th spot.

As expected, the LMP2 class provided intense battles, with JOTA Sport pulling off a one-two: the #28 of Tom Blomqvist (1:31.210) ahead of the #38 driven by local hero António Félix da Costa. Racing Team Nederland's Job van Uitert at the wheel of the #29 ORECA 07-Gibson rounded out the top 3.

Kevin Estre driving the #92 Porsche 911 RSR-19 in LMGTE Pro confirmed his talent and determination, earning the pole with an excellent time of 1:37.986. The #52 Ferrari 488 GTE EVO of James Calado wasn't far behind, effectively splitting the German team in two. Thanks to Gianmaria Bruni in the #91 Porsche 911 RSR-19, Porsche GT Team placed two cars in the top 3.
Daniel Serra driving the #51 Ferrari 488 GTE EVO did not fare as well. Failure to respect track limits caused him to repeat his qualifying attempt, and the Brazilian will start the race from the back of the field.
Kevin Estre (#92 Porsche 911 RSR-19): "I felt good in the car, the team gave me everything I needed to perform well. The circuit was not easy today and everyone made mistakes. I am really happy to have done a good lap without any warnings related to track limits. That was the key during this qualifying. This has been a perfect start to the season."

Results in the LMGTE Am class weren't known until the end of the session: Egidio Perfetti in the #56 Porsche 911 RSR-19 clocked a time of 1:40.191 in the final moments, followed by Dempsey-Proton Racing #77 Porsche 911 RSR-19 driven by Christian Ried and Cetilar Racing's #47 Ferrari 488 GTE EVO.
