FIA WEC – Here is the provisional entry list for the 4 Hours of Silverstone

The provisional entry list for the 4 Hours of Silverstone (30 & 31 August-1 September) has been released, with 30 cars expected to take the start in the first round of the 2019-2020 FIA World Endurance Championship season.

The provisional entry list for the 4 Hours of Silverstone includes five cars in the LMP1 class, eight in LMP2, six in LMGTE Pro and 11 in LMGTE Am, for a total of 30 cars. New Zealand driver Brendon Hartley will take his first start at the wheel of TOYOTA GAZOO Racing's #8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid, joining forces with Sébastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima. Rebellion Racing has confirmed it will field one Rebellion R13-Gibson (driver line-up to be announced) and Team LNT will enter two Ginetta G60-LT-P1-AERs.

Fans can expect first appearances in the LMP2 class for permanent teams United Autosports (#22 ORECA 07-Gibson), High Class Racing (#33 ORECA 07-Gibson), Jota (#38 ORECA 07-Gibson), Cool Racing (#42 ORECA 07-Gibson) and Cetilar Racing (#47 Dallara P217-Gibson). AF Corse, Porsche GT Team and Aston Martin Racing will battle it out in LMGTE Pro, and the Aston Martin Vantage AMR will compete for the first time in the LMGTE Am class thanks to TF Sport and Aston Martin Racing.

4 Hours of Silverstone Provisional Entry List

On 23-24 July, FIA WEC competitors will hit the track at the Barcelona circuit for the Prologue, the first official testing sessions of the championship, to shakedown their cars and fine-tune car set-ups before the season kicks off.
