Focus on the Porsche 936/77 (video)

All of the Le Mans-winning Porsches were recently reunited at Hockenheim, in Allemagne, driven by drivers from their respective eras, as well as current official drivers Romain Dumas and Timo Bernhard, winners in 2010.

Worthy successor to the Porsche 917, the 936 debuted at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1976 and won with Gijs Van Lennep and Jacky Ickx driving, before defending its title the following year. The 936/77 evolution would also win in La Sarthe, still with Jacky Ickx, but joined this time by Hurley Haywood and Jürgen Barth, despite Alpine's presence. Ride along for a few laps with the first prototype to have won at Le Mans with a turbo engine.
