By winning his first victory, Nicolas Prost pulled off a double blow by reaching the head of the championship as well. He is now ahead of two other endurance drivers: Lucas di Grassi (Audi Sport Team Joest driver) and Sam Bird (G-Drive Racing driver).

Another man distinguished himself, Loïc Duval who, starting from the last place on the starting grid, finished seventh ahead of Bird and di Grassi. The second Rebellion Racing driver present, Nick Heidfeld, finished 12th ahead of FIA WEC World Champion, Sébastien Buemi. Then came Karum Chandhok (14th), Vitantonio Liuzzi (16th) and Stéphane Sarrazin (19th). The only retirement of the race was for the Aston Martin Racing driver in 2013 and 2014, the Brazilian Bruno Senna.

The sixth round of this inaugural season of the FIA Formula E will take place Saturday, April 4 2015 at Long Beach (California, U.S.), while the 83rd edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place Saturday and Sunday, June 13-14, 2015.
