Garage 56 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2016: Frédéric Sausset's Morgan is revealed

Fr

After the ground-breaking technology fielded with the DeltaWing and Nissan ZEOD RC, Garage 56 will this time be devoted to one man’s passion. Quadruple amputee Frédéric Sausset is one of the 24 Hours of Le Mans’ biggest fans and has decided to make his dream come true at the wheel of a Morgan LM P2.

The prototype’s livery was presented in front of Pierre Fillon, Frédéric Lénart, Vincent Beaumesnil (respectively President, Managing Director and Sporting Director of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest), Jacques Nicolet (President of Onroak Automotive, designer of the Morgan chassis) and driver Christophe Tinseau, who will be accompanying Sausset in his Le Mans Challenge. The Morgan will be racing under number 41, a reference to Sausset’s home region and postcode. The first tests will get underway before the end of the year and the name of the third driver should be announced shortly.

Tickets for the 2016 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be on sale from Tuesday 3 November (ACO members) and Friday 6 November (general public).
