- Three former Le Mans 24 Hours winners – Andy Wallance, David Brabham and John Nielsen – drove to victory with a Zytek chassis
- In 2010, former Formula One world champion Nigel Mansell drove a Zytek LM P1 for his only appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with his sons Greg and Leo as team-mates.
- In 2011, Greaves Motorsport gave Zytek its first LM P2 victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with Tom Kimber-Smith, Oliver Lombard and Karim Ojjeh at the wheel. Another British team – Jota Sport with drivers Simon Dolan, Oliver Turvey and Harry Tincknell – took the second win for Zytek in 2014.
- Saudi driver Ojjeh has long been loyal to the Zytek LM P2 chassis. He has taken part in the iconic 24-Hour race seven times and driven the Zytek on five occasions, including the 2011 class victory.
- Since the inaugural season of the World Endurance Championship in 2012, Jota Sport has regarded the WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps as a warm-up for Le Mans. And it has been pretty successful there, with two victories and two podiums in LM P2!
- The Zytek chassis took two LM P2 titles in the Le Mans Series: in 2009 with Portuguese team Quifel ASM Team and in 2011 with British squad Greaves Motorsport (at the time, the series also featured LM P1 prototypes).
- In 2015, the Zytek was rebranded with the Gibson name. For the grand finale of the 2015 European Le Mans Series at Estoril in Portugal on 18 October, Jota Sport and Greaves Motorsport will again be competing for the title in the Gibson, going head-to-head with the Oreca 05 fielded by French team Thiriet by TDS Racing.
