With the LMGT2 runner-up spot and the unofficial victory in the race between the Ferrari teams, the 2010 Le Mans 24 Hours will be a milestone in the history of the Korean tyre manufacturer.
The Hankook Team Farnbacher was not part of the duel between the Risi Competizione Ferrari and the factory Corvette. This was the perfect strategy to see the chequered flag, to the great joy of the drivers, and also the Hankook executives. “Climbing onto the podium in just our second outing at the Le Mans 24 Hours is a thrilling achievement,” says Bill Bainbridge, director of brand communication. “We will continue to invest in motorsports to develop tires that meet the demand of motorsports fans and as well as our 60 billion customers worldwide,” adds Vice President Se Heon Kim.
