The oldest permanent circuit of the United States will host this year a race of historic cars like the Le Mans Classic. Classic cars that participated in the 12 Hours of Sebring in the past will attend the event to be held annually.
The first edition is part of the celebration of 60th anniversary of the 12 Hours of Sebring. The popular success of historic events is undeniable and it is primarily for fans that the event was introduced, as explained Tres Stephenson, President and CEO of Sebring: "The fans always appreciate events involving historic cars that we organize. We recognize the need to raise the level of competition and quality of these events to reflect the importance of the legendary racing cars and create an event that completely integrates competitors, spectators and the community of Sebring . Our goal is to provide a high quality experience to our customers. ".
The historic cars take the track for the first edition of 25 to 28 October 2012, but before that spectators can admire the 6 to 8 July 2012 on the Le Mans circuit for ten years of Le Mans Classic.
