One team, three drivers, a legendary race, lots of emotion and passion, overtaking...that's how the members of IDEC SPORT Racing describes the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The French team is prepping for its third start in the big race, with the #48 ORECA 07-Gibson (in LMP2) to be shared by Paul Lafargue (age 30, two participations), Paul-Loup Chatin (age 27, four participations) and Memo Rojas (age 37, three participations).
Last year, the car scored pole position in the class but was forced to retire during the race with a failed gearbox.
This season, IDEC SPORT Racing is also competing in the European Le Mans Series. The #48 ORECA 07-Gibson finished second at the Le Castellet and Monza rounds and is now second in the championship's provisional classification, trailing G-Drive Racing by only two points.
